Robert Welch, Senior Pastor
Robert has served in this position since October, 1994. Pastor Welch is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University with a B.A. degree in Religion, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and Luther Rice Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Theology degree in New Testament at the University of South Africa.
Robert and Ruth have three adult children:
Robert, Jr. (a pastor in Louisiana), whi is married to Kyla. They have two children; Hudson and Hayden.
Stephen, who is married to Julie.
Casey, who is single.
His Hobbies are hunting, fishing, golf, and research in New Testament.
Don Wilkins, Executive Pastor
Don has served our church since January 1997. He is a graduate of The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music degree and has attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Texas as Minister of Music, Youth and Administrator. Don and Ruth have two grown children: Russell and Lynne.
Sam Trujillo, Worship Pastor
Sam has served our church in this position since March 2003. He is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Music degree and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Music degree. Sam and his wife Kathy have four daughters: Sarah, Laura, Victoria and Rebekah.
Kelly Wright, Minister to Children
Kelly has served our church since May, 2006. She has been involved in Children's ministries in some fashion for most of her Christian life, leading and teaching many areas of preschool and grade school programs. After answering God's call to full-time ministry in 1999, she served on staff at a Baptist Church in Colorado. Her goal for the children's ministry of Parkhills is to see that every child is able to learn the basic Bibles truths that will eventually lead to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Her guiding verse continues to be 2 Timothy 3:14-15.
Kelly and her husband have been married since 1981. They have one daughter at home, and a married son who serves in the Army and has two young sons of his own.

Chad Humphrey, Student Coordinator
Chad has served our church in various ways since 2004. Chad came here as our children’s worship leader and, over time, God has given him more opportunities in his service at Parkhills. He assumed his present role in July, 2008.
He is currently a student taking online courses through Dallas Christian College, and plans on pursuing an online education through Dallas Theological Seminary after he completes his undergraduate degree.
Chad is recently married to his wife, Linsay.
