Robert Welch, Senior Pastor
Robert has served in this position since October, 1994. Pastor Welch is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University with a B.A. degree in Religion, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and Luther Rice Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Theology degree in New Testament at the University of South Africa.
Pastor Welch and his wife Ruth have three children: Robert, Jr. and his wife, Kyla, Stephen and Casey. His hobbies are duck hunting, playing golf and having fun.
Don Wilkins, Executive Pastor
Don has served our church since January 1997. He is a graduate of The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music degree and has attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Texas as Minister of Music, Youth and Administrator. Don and Ruth have two grown children: Russell and Lynne.
Sam Trujillo, Worship Pastor
Sam has served our church in this position since March 2003. He is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Music degree and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Music degree. Sam and his wife Kathy have four daughters: Sarah, Laura, Victoria and Rebekah.
Gene Nagy, Discipleship Pastor
Gene has served our church since January, 1999, including eight years as Minister of Outreach, also overseeing mission efforts of the church.
Gene is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. degree in Economics and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. Gene and his wife Alice have three children: Brian, Eric, and Kristen.
Kelly Wright, Minister to Children
Kelly has been involved in Children's ministries in some fashion for most of her Christian life, leading and teaching many areas of preschool and grade school programs. After answering God's call to full-time ministry in 1999, she served on staff at a Baptist Church in Colorado. Her goal for the children's ministry of Parkhills is to see that every child is able to learn the basic Bibles truths that will eventually lead to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Her guiding verse continues to be 2 Timothy 3:14-15.
Kelly and her husband have been married since 1981. They have one daughter at home, and a married son who serves in the Army and has two young sons of his own.

Chad Humphrey, Interim Student Pastor
Chad has served our church in various ways over the past 3 years. Chad came here as our children’s worship leader and, over time, God has given him more opportunities here to serve.
He is currently a student taking online courses through Dallas Christian College, and plans on attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary once he is finished there.
