People tell me all the time how hard it is to find a new church. No doubt about it, visiting a church can be frightening. It's hard to know how you will be received. If you are thinking about visiting Parkhills let me calm your fears. Here are some reasons you have nothing to worry about:
You will be greeted by warm, friendly, members as soon as you walk in the door. They know their way around the complex and want to help you find a place in which you will feel comfortable.
If you have children, either preschoolers or older children, you will find the most thoroughly loving and secure care on this planet (that's not an exaggeration).
Our worship services do not follow a liturgy or a tradition, but are understandable and inviting, as well as engaging.
My sermons are prepared to help prepare you...to live in the real world. Make no mistake about it, they are soundly biblical, but they are intended to be practical.
No one will hound you after you visit. You will be given the opportunity to tell us how you would like to learn more about our church. We will do our best to keep that pledge. We want you, but we want you when God wants you to make this your new church family.
Connection is the key to building relationships. Churches are nothing more or less than believers connecting to one another as they connect to Christ.
